Sabina Letang was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and currently lives in Oakland, CA.  

Sabina leads a monthly creative writing group for elders and she is an English instructor and co-coordinator of the Puente program at Laney College.

When she is not writing or preparing for class, Sabina enjoys listening to music, eating comfort food, and going on long walks with her dog.
